The Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven, located in Beijing, China, is a historic imperial complex where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties performed annual ceremonies to pray for good harvests. Constructed in 1420, it covers an area of 273 hectares and is renowned for its unique architectural design and cultural significance. The main structures include the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Imperial Vault of Heaven, and the Circular Mound Altar.
